The Maggie Burn Scholarship is available for a New Zealand Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner undertaking study leading to:
A postgraduate qualification (PG Cert; PG Dip; Masters; PhD); or
A recognised course that involves advanced nursing practice and expanded scope of practice (urodynamics, surveillance flexible cystoscopy, surveillance of prostate or bladder cancers); or
The Scholarship can also be used for attendance at a Urological Conference or a Urological Department site visit. This can be in New Zealand or can include travel to another international centre.
The Scholarship will be offered on an annual basis to the value of $5,000.
Applications close 1 October of year preceding granting of Scholarship.
Payment of scholarship is subject to confirmation of enrolment in an approved course of post graduate study or confirmation of an approved travel itinerary. The successful applicant will be notified one week prior to the annual USANZ/NZUNS conference in October of the year prior to the planned period of study.

It is the applicants’ responsibility to ensure the application form is completed in full. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Applications can be sent at any time. Successful applicants will be notified by letter/email.
Payment of the Maggie Burn Scholarship will not be made before written acceptance is received from the applicant.
